Involving the right stakeholders throughout the hiring process tees up your new hire for success with these individuals. Internal subject matter experts can also help you see what you’re missing and expand your perspective on the role. Not only will you be achieving alignment, but you will also be strengthening internal partnerships!
The Hiring Board of Advisors usually consists of:
- The Hiring Manager
- Their manager (you'll want to ensure alignment here)
- Their HR Partner(s)
- Internal customers and/or their peers
- Members of the Hiring Manager's team who will be the candidate's future peers
- External stakeholders (in select instances)
