How do I add a candidate?

There are three ways to add a candidate:
- Import candidates from your ATS
- Import a candidate from another job
- Create a new candidate in HireBest
In this article, we'll focus on #3 - creating a new candidate in HireBest.
On the Hire page, navigate to the "Candidates" tab and locate the button that says "Add Candidate".

Once clicked, you will be prompted to enter the candidate's details. The required fields include:
- First name
- Last name
- Email Address
- Either the candidate's LinkedIn URL OR their resume in .pdf format
Additional fields include the candidate's phone number, current title, current company, and a field in which you can add notes and/or other attachments such as cover letters, portfolios, etc.
NOTE: if you are planning to use Hogan Assessments in your process, be sure to use an email address for the candidate that is not checked "Do not email". The link to the candidate's assessment must be delivered via this email.
